I Flash People

I was lucky enough to go to the Pilanesberg National Park a little while back with my girlfriends family. They have had some hectic rains there so the game viewing was not the best. But you always see something.

I finally have a work station again so have begun the hunt through the back log of photos and video on my hard drives.

There are a few birds around the lodge. I am not sure what the names are.

After a week in Montania we met up with Tito, the owner of Bromelia Nature Lodge. He offered us some work and accommodation so we moved in as soon as we could.

This is Puma, the cat at the lodge.

After leaving BA and having the most stressful time in the airport we eventually got to Montanita (after 3days, two nights sleeping in airports). We stayed at a place called Iguana Backpackers. A really nice spot on the river in town.

After a good three months in Chile, we had to jump the boarder for a visa run. The closest place was Argentina. We originally planned to go back to Chile within a few days, but Argentina was so cheap and the meat and wine so delicious, we ended up staying for about three weeks.

Our first stop was Mendoza, a beautiful city in the winelands. I did not take any photos…

Next stop was Buenos Aires. It is a fantastic city. Old and new combine to create a great atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone traveling South America.

what follows are a few of the shots I did get while there…

There was also a cat at the hostel. Her name was Kelly Slater. When we first met kelly we thought she was just fat and piggish. But time would inform us that she was in fact pregnant. One day, unfortunately a week before we were leaving, she came into the lounge looking a bit worried and scared. Shortly after her water broke. we got a box and put some towels in it and put her inside. At first she wanted to sit on Psara’s lap, which would have gotten interesting, but she eventually got comfortable in the box. Then it started, and after four and a half hours she had  five gorgeous new kittens. We named them after the songs/artists that were playing when the entered the world. The order went as follows:

1. Bradley (song: Sublime - Bad fish)

2. Pinky Jnr (he was ginger so he got my name)

3. Mr. Boss (Song: Sellor and the Scientists - Yes Sir boss)

4. Blue (Song: mewithoutYou - Nice and Blue Part 2)

5. Mouse (Song: Modest Mouse - Polar Opposites)

It was sad to leave them all. I hope they have happy homes.

The setting sun casts a golden glow. The plants soak up the last of the days rays.

As I said, the sunsets where sensational.
